THERE IS ONLY LOVE

Welcome tonight everyone. Our Moment of Oneness is about love and caring.

Pause and breathe in Peace, breathe out Love, please repeat.

Opening Song: “Sanctuary” by Carrie Newcomer

https://youtu.be/HjOioWTVAl4

Opening Prayer: We gather in celebration of the world that surrounds us, reminding us of the deep and lasting love that has been bestowed upon all creation.  May we be ever aware of the responsibility we have as true stewards of all creation, and of the care and nurturance of all life to which we are called. Amen

Meditation: The love and support of the Three Sisters.

The Three Sisters garden is a symbol of love and support for us.  By late summer, the beans will hang in heavy clusters of smooth green pods, ears of corn angle out from the stalk, fattening in the sunshine, and pumpkins swell at your feet. Acre for acre, a Three Sisters garden yields more food than if you grew each of the sisters alone.  The way of the Three Sisters reminds the writer of one of the basic teachings of her people.  The most important thing each of us can know is our unique gift and how to use it in the world.  Individuality is cherished and nurtured, because, in order for the whole to flourish, each of us has to be strong in who we are and carry our gifts with conviction so they can be shared with others. Words of Robin Wall Kimmerer

Reflection...

Beatitudes for the 21st Century

Blessed be the Earth and those who tend her,

for she is the source and sustenance of our lives.

Blessed be the children who hunger for food, learning,

and homes that are safe, for their future is shaped by our choices today.

Blessed be the refugees fleeing the violence of war and poverty;

may they find shelter, peace and work that sustains them.

Blessed be those who are calling for freedom, risking their loves, and

resisting oppression, for they are the shapers of a brighter world.

Blessed be the persecuted and wrongly judged, for their sorrow is lessened

by mercy and kindness.

Blessed by the prophets who speak and write or a world beyond war, for theirs are words becoming flesh.

Blessed be the story-tellers, music-makers, and artists at life, for they

are the true light of the world.

Blessed be the tender-hearted who mourn and grieve the wars

we've fought, the lives we've lost; may peace ride in on the river of

their tears. By Jan Phillips

What are your special intentions tonight?

Pause and share...
