Opening Prayer: Holy One, open our eyes to the wonders our precious Earth holds. We are stewards and co-creators of all we see, hear, taste and touch. Help us to live out our commitment of care. Amen.
Tonight our Moment of Oneness will take a slightly different shape. We will see and listen to a story. The Lorax is a story I think we all know. For over fifty years now it has encouraged both children and adults to value our precious resources for their own sake and not just for the profit we might gain from exploiting them. Let’s listen to that story tonight with the heart of the child in us and with the wisdom we have learned from our experience as adults. It still has much to teach us.
